We offer nucleus colonies in the months of April and May only. We use the rest of the season to produce honey and make up nucleus colonies for the following spring.
This year we have teamed up with our friends at Coy queen bee to offer a certified Russian queen in our spring nucleus colonies. These will be made up from our over wintered stock. Once the splits have been made and the queens are accepted we will monitor them for at least 3 weeks, so all the kinks have been worked out and you can see the laying pattern of your new queen.
This will include 5 frames of bees with brood in all stages which will include honey and pollen. Available as 5 Frame Deeps only. *limit 2 colonies per customer*
